NOTICE: BYRON-BERGEN PUBLIC LIBRARY’S ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR

NOTICE: BYRON-BERGEN PUBLIC LIBRARY’S ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR

On September 14, 2009, the Byron-Bergen Public Library’s Board of Trustees voted to put the annual Craft Fair on hold until 2010 due to the loss of our venue. The Board of Trustees understands the importance of this annual event and is fully committed to securing a new location. They will begin that process early next year in anticipation of a Fall event. Please watch for additional details as they become available.

An Official Statement from the Library Board…

After researching financial aspects, location possibilities and public support, the Byron Bergen Public Library Board (BBPL) has concluded that absorbing full financial responsibilities for the library location at the Gillam Grant Community Center is not viable given current levels of funding. The library location in the village of Bergen will continue to remain open.
